Our story
This online venture roots in 2012, when the founder of the Greek Online Academy started giving her first lessons to a student in Australia with great success. Over the years, our students multiplied and our online lessons evolved.
We have welcomed learners from around the world, including Greeks of the diaspora, partners of Greeks, travelers, and learners using Greek for daily life or professional purposes, as well as students preparing for certificates such as Ellinomatheia.
After more than a decade of online and in-person teaching experience, we continue helping students achieve their goals from the comfort of home.

Teaching Method Overview
Choose online private, semi-private, or small-group lessons for any age and level. Our programs are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and follow the syllabi of the Center for the Greek Language, ensuring clear and structured progress. We offer General Greek courses as well as niche programs tailored to specific goals, with a strong focus on oral skills: speaking courses for all levels, Greek for travelers crash courses, Ellinomatheia exam preparation, and Business Greek upon demand.
