Fotini P.
Language Instructor
Γεια σας! I am a philologist and I have been teaching Ancient and Modern Greek to Greek students who want to enter the University since 2004. My academic path along with my continuing education (MA in Teaching Greek as L2, MEd in Special Education for People with Oral and Written Language Difficulties) reflects my love for learning and my strong belief that teaching is a dynamic process that requires constant development and adaptation.
Last year, I joined the Greek Online Academy team. In GoA, I found educators with whom I share similar values, principles, dreams and passion about teaching Greek. I believe that teaching Greek as a foreign language goes beyond language instruction; it is a journey into a language that has profoundly influenced global traditions, offering valuable insights and skills for the modern world. In other words, teaching Greek is about unlocking a rich cultural heritage and fostering intellectual growth.
Beyond teaching, I have a keen interest in research while in my spare time, I enjoy walking, listening to music, watching series/movies, and spending time with family and friends.
