Sofia S.

Language Instructor

Γεια σας! I’m a Greek language instructor with a genuine love for languages and the stories they carry. I studied Greek Philology and later continued with Italian Language and Literature, following a path that naturally led me to postgraduate studies in second and foreign language teaching. For me, learning languages has never been just an academic choice; it has always been something personal.
Because I have experienced what it feels like to be both a language learner and a teacher, I understand how exciting, but also challenging, this journey can be. I see language learning as something deeply connected to culture, identity, and real communication. In my lessons, I focus on creating a supportive and trusting environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and free to express themselves as they grow.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me on long walks with my dog. I care deeply about animals, and helping stray ones is part of my daily life. I also love traveling and discovering new cultures, while watching movies is my favorite way to relax and recharge.
