Yorgos
Teacher, Curriculum designer at the Greek Online Academy
Γεια σας! I am a linguist and a Greek language instructor. I have a demonstrated history of working in the philanthropy industry providing Modern Greek courses in non-traditional contexts. Thus, I’ve been working as a Greek teacher, teaching students of different backgrounds and educational levels.
People say I’m passionate about teaching, putting all my energy into the class. To be honest teaching is my stress reliever. Why? It’s all about sharing knowledge and experience, inspiring and motivating students while preparing them for the future. After teaching so many students from diverse backgrounds, I find myself reflecting on what teaching means to me. It’s about creating authentic relationships and establishing meaningful connections, while holding the belief that everybody can learn…even Greek. Is it all Greek to you?
Definitely not!
In my free time I like traveling , doing yoga or running, meeting new people, watching series/movies, and of course having a nice coffee or a drink with good friends.
